Olympic 100m world champion Usain Bolt predicts that he can comfortably break his own world record in the near future.

Bolt won Olympic gold in a record time of 9:69 seconds in the Beijing Olympics, but the Jamaican has said that beating the time this year "shouldn't be a problem".

"My coach expressed his views in Beijing, saying I could run 9.54, and I can definitely do that," he said.

The 22-year-old runs in a 150m street race in Manchester later on Sunday, having recovered from a car crash.
