Brisbane have shocked many outsiders this season with their performances and they are currently second on the league ladder with14 points thanks to seven wins from their opening eight matches.

New Zealand Warriors reached the Grand Final last season but they crashed to defeat against the Manly Sea Eagles, but they will need to up their game if they are to get close this year.

The Warriors are 12th on the rankings list with only three wins to their name but they will be counting on a partizan crowd to cheer them home.

The Broncos come into this clash thanks to a 26-6 Queensland derby win over the Gold Coast Titans with Alex Glenn steaming over for a couple of tries.

The Warriors, on the other hand,  became Melbourne Storm’s eighth victim of the season as they went down 32-14 with Bill Tupou scoring twice for the Kiwi outfit.

New Zealand international Shaun Johnson returns to action for the Warriors following a slight knock and he will replace Pita Godinet, while Jerome Ropati is also back in the team and will start at fullback with Kevin Locke missing out through injury.

The Broncos are able to call on Ben Te’o who has served his two week suspension and he will start from the bench with Dunamis Lui the man to miss out.

On paper the Broncos should claim a comfortable win and they are the $1.70 favourites with Luxbet, while the Warriors are a 2.15 shot on home soil.
