The Green Bay Packers, winners of three Super Bowl Championships, are back into the biggest game in American sports as they will face the Pittsburgh Steelers from Dallas, Texas on February 6th.

In what looks like a blockbuster championship game two of the more popular teams are into the final and both have quarterbacks that can deliver in the big moment.

Aaron Rodgers looked sharp in the NFC semifinals as he orchestrated multiple scoring drives against the Atlanta Falcons. He was not as hot against the Chicago Bears but the way he started the game was pivotal for Green Bay and Rodgers is clearly coming of age.

The Pittsburgh Steelers already have 6 Super Bowl Championships, the most recent coming from 2008. Ben Roethlisberger was a part of their 2 most recent wins and at just 28 years of age, his Super Bowl resume is already sparkling. At 6'5" he's able to throw over the offensive line with ease and his lumbering momentum is useful for short yardage situations.

But we recommended the Packers in the early portion of the 2010/11 NFL season and we aren't going to back down now that they have made the big game. However it's fair to say that a close contest should be expected and the spread of -2.5 in Green Bay's favor certainly implies a well contested championship (bet365).

Super Bowl XLV takes place on Sunday February 6th, 2011 from Cowboy's Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The national anthem will be sung by Christina Aguilera and the half-time show will feature the Black Eyed Peas.

FOX have the television coverage and kickoff time is at about 5:25pm Central Time (6:25pm ET).

Besides Aguilera and the Black Eyed Peas another interesting sideshow at the Super Bowl will be the advertisements. This year a 30 second commercial could cost about $3,000,000 - a staggering figure - and one that is derived from the fact that the Super Bowl is the pinnacle hour in American sports.
