Roger Federer French Open Odds Update

Federer's odds have drifted for Roland Garros, following his surprise ATP Indian Wells loss.

Roger Federer has been a +250 (5/2) second favorite to win the French Open for quite some time now.  However in the weeks after the Australian Open, Ladbrokes were the only sportsbook offering that price.  Now they have company as Paddy Power and Stan James have both lengthened their prices to +250 (5/2) as well.

Federer may have lost some favor with the betting public as a result of his loss to Marcos Baghdatis in the third round of the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, California.  However Federer only has two titles to show for his efforts in the last year of the Masters Series 1000 events and yet he has taken down 3 of the 4 Slams.

It is safe to say that the losses that Roger Federer has suffered in the Masters Series events have not been indicative of how he was going to play in Slams and he's a good pick at +250 (5/2) in the outright winner's market for the French Open at this point.
