Casey Stoner has halted Valentino Rossi's seven-year winning run in Italy with an exciting win at the Italian MotoGP.
Stoner finished first, Jorge Lorenzo came in second with Valentino Rossi third.
Lorenzo's finish was impressive after he crashed on the warm-up and had a poor start from pole position.The race took place in wet conditions and was one of the most eventful in years, with outsiders like Marco Melandri and Loris Capirossi having a spell in the lead before Stoner took charge.
