All the football leagues across Europe are coming to a close in the next few weeks so every game taking place is of huge importance.
The battle to finish third in the Turkish Super Lig Championship Group takes place on Friday with Besiktas playing host to Trabzonspor in their final game.
Besiktas are third on the Championship Group ladder with 32 points and have only managed one win from their five games in this part of the competition.
Trabzonspor are bottom of the ladder on goal difference after picking up the same one win and one draw record as their opponents and they know a win will see them end the campaign in third spot.
Besiktas come into this game on the back of a hard-earned 2-2 draw away at Galatasaray, while Trabzonspor were beaten 3-1 on home soil against Fenerbahce.
Other live coverage from around Europe will see action from the Austrian Erste Liga and Serie B in Italy.
The FIVB SWATCH World Tour Beach Volleyball tournament continues on Friday from the Beijing Grand Slam for both the men and women.
The Men’s round robin stage gets underway on Friday, while in the women’s half the main draw continues with the last 16 going up against each other.
The NRL rugby league in Australia reaches Round 10 and there are two matches being streamed live online with Brisbane Broncos facing Manly Sea Eagles and Canterbury Bulldogs against the Gold Coast Titans.
Brisbane Broncos will be looking to keep on the coat tails of the Melbourne Storm when they take on defending NRL champions Manly Sea Eagles on Friday.
The Broncos have been in impressive form this season with only two defeats to their name and they will be determined to remain in second place when the champions come to the Suncorp Stadium.
Anthony Griffin and his Brisbane side have been in fine form this season, which has been surprising consider the retirement of Darren Lockyer are the end of last season, but the likes of Peter Wallace, Josh Hoffman, Gerard Beale and Jack Reed are holding their own.
Brisbane come into this game on the back of a 30-20 defeat away at the New Zealand Warriors and they will be hoping to bounce back immediately on home soil.
Manly Sea Eagles, however, are no mugs and on their day they can beat anyone - the have the Grand Final trophy in their possession to back up that boast.
Manly coach Geoff Toovey has not had the best of starts with the Sea Eagles down in sixth place after a slow start, they currently have five wins to their name and will be aiming to move into the top four as soon as possible.
Canterbury Bulldogs should have no real problems in keeping their top four dreams alive when they play host to struggling Gold Coast Titans in NRL Round 10 on Friday.
The Bulldogs are looking a real force at the moment with the likes of James Graham and Dene Halatau leading from the front in the pack, while Ben Barba, Josh Morris and Kris Keating are causing problems on the flanks.
Canterbury currently occupy fifth place on the league ladder with 10 points from nine matches and they know that by picking up their sixth win of the campaign and other results fall their way then they will be in the top four by Monday.
The Titans, on the other hand, are really struggling and they are 14th on the ladder with four points after only managing two wins all season.
On paper the Titans have a very strong team with the likes of Jamal Idris, Greg Bird, Nate Myles, Mark Minichiello and Ashley Harrison in their ranks, but for some reason they are not gelling in 2012 and coach John Cartwright could soon be out of a job.
The Bulldogs come into this game on the back of a convincing 46-12 win away at bottom club Parramatta Eels with Morris running in a hat-trick of tries, while the Titans lost 15-14 to a golden-point extra-time drop goal from Robbie Farah.
