In handball, the first semifinal of the EHF Champions League Final Four will feature an all-German showdown between Füchse Berlin and THW Kiel at 1430.
Reaching the last four seemed to be a tall order for Füchse Berlin after it lost to Ademar León 23-34 in the first leg of their quarterfinal showdown. Given up for dead, the German club did the unthinkable by beating its Spanish opponent also by 11 goals (29-18) in the rematch.
Kobenhavn of Denmark meanwhile, take on Spain's Atletico Madrid at 1700 in the other semi as all four sides vie for a place in Sunday's final.
