Friday is an action packed day with plenty of live sport for streaming fans to get their teeth into, including rugby league, beach volleyball, football and table tennis.
NRL returns to action this weekend with the top two locking horns on Friday with Melbourne Storm playing host to the Brisbane Broncos, while the South Sydney Rabbitohs take on the Canberra Raiders.
The Storm, up until recently, were on fire in the NRL and were unbeaten, but that record came to an end two weeks ago at the hands of the Cronulla Sharks and last week they were awarded a bye.
Craig Bellamy’s Melbourne side are currently top of the league ladder with 20 points with nine wins from 10 matches and one bye and are still the team to beat as they race to reach the Grand Final hots up.
The Broncos also had a bye last week and apart from their Origin stars they will be suitably refreshed and will be looking to close the gap and make the Storm doubt themselves.
Brisbane have been going well in 2012 and are second on the ladder, but find themselves four points adrift so they are well aware they need to narrow that gap as soon as possible.
South Sydney Rabbitohs will be looking to improve their chances of finishing in the NRL top four when they take on out-of-sorts Canberra Raiders in Round 12 on Friday.
Souths are currently in sixth place with 14 points and will be feeling confident about claiming win number seven.
Maguire’s men come into this clash on the back of a golden point extra-time win over fierce rivals St George Illawarra Dragons with Adam Reynolds kicking the winning field goal for a 19-18 win.
The Raiders are really struggling this year despite starting the season well. They are down in 12th place with 10 points after winning just four of their opening 10 games.
The Raiders should be fresh after not playing last weekend after they were handed a bye due to the Origin clash.
There is live football action being streamed on Friday with games coming from Japan, China and Lithuania.
There is one game from the J League with Gamba Osaka taking on Sagan Tosu with the home side looking to boost their chances of survival.
Over in China, Beijing Guoan play host to Dalian Aerbing and Tianjin Teda going up against Shanghai Shenxin.
The Lithuanian A Lyga continues as well on Friday with Suduva Marijampole travelling to take on FK Dainava Alytus with the visitors looking to keep their title dreams alive.
Other action taking place on Friday include the ITTF World Tour China Open table tennis, the FIVB Beach Volleyball Prague Open, the CEV Beach Volleyball European Championships and there is also some tennis action with the ATP event in Nice and two WTA tournaments in Strausbourg and Brussels.
