There are plenty of sporting events to help kick-start your Monday with tennis, football, bowls and table tennis dominating the schedule.
Weather permitting, Brittish number one Andy Murray will be walking out for his US Open Final against Novak Djokovic or David Ferrer on Monday.
Murray booked his place in the final with a 3-1 sets win over Tomas Berdych, but his opponent has not yet been determined as the second semi-final was postponed on Saturday following a Tornado warning in New York.
There are a number of other tennis tournaments getting under way on Monday with the WTA Tashkent, WTA Quebec and some interesting Challenger events in Istanbul, Petange, Todi and Seville.
With the World Cup Qualifiers still taking priority this week domestic football is once again on the backburner, although there is still action coming from Russia.
The Football Championship of the National League, formerly the Russian First Division, takes centre stage this week because of the international break and Bet365 are giving them plenty of air time.
Tom Tomsk currently lead the standing in Russia’s number two division with 20 points and they will be looking to extend that lead further when they battle FK Yenisey at 1300 BST.
Tom Tomsk managed a 3-2 win over Ural last time out with goals from Sergei Omelyanchuk, Nikita Bazhenov and Alexander Dimidko, while Yenisey were held to a goalless draw on home soil against Rotor Volograd.
Bottom club Khimki will be looking for only their second win of the season when they play host to Shinnik Yaroslavl.
Other key games taking place include Sibir Novosibirsk against Ural and Volgar Astachan versus Spartak Nalchik.
Aside from tennis and football there is plenty of other action with table tennis, bowls, cricket, ice hockey and volleyball being streamed live.
Greg Harlow will be looking to go top of the Super 8 Series Bowls rankings this week and you can watch his progress live online.
Harlow is currently in fourth place on the ladder with 200 points and he knows if he picks up more than 50 points he will leap into first place ahead of Nicky Brett who does not feature this week.
The other three players in action on Monday are Tim Stone, Mervyn King and Jason Greenslade with all three in need of more points.
The high profile Table Tennis Challenger Series will take place over two days this week rather than the normal three.
Czech star Miroslav Horejsi is the highest ranked player in action this week and he will be looking to add to his total of 2730 points in a bid to break into the top three.
The nearest ranked player to Horejsi is fellow countryman Petr David who is down ion 11th place and he currently has his work cut out if he is to seal a place in the top eight.
The AVC Women’s Volleyball Championships start on Monday, while Pakistan and Australia go into battle once more in a T20I and there is also live streaming action from the Kontinental Hockey League with the key game being Salavat Ulaev UFA against league leaders Dinamo Minsk.
