Football fans are spoilt for choice on Friday with action from the Austrian Erste Liga, Brasileiro Campeonato Serie A, Copa Sudamericana and the Lithuanian A Lyga just some of the highlights being streamed live.
The big game of the second round of fixtures in the Austrian Erste Liga sees SCR Altach continue their quest for promotion when they host SV Scholz Grodig.
SCR Altach just missed out on promotion to the Bundesliga last season, finishing second to be consigned to another season in the second tier of Austrian football.
They made a winning start to the 2012/13 campaign, but they made hard work of it against newly-promoted SV Horn, eventually edging a seven-goal thriller by the odd goal. Next up for them is the visit of SV Scholz Grodig, with match kicking off at 17:30 BST.
There are three other games scheduled to kick off at that time as SV Kapfenberg look to bounce back from an opening day hammering when they host SV Horn; First Vienna FC 1894 aim to register their first points when they entertain FC Blau Weiss Linz; and St Polten seek to make it two wins from two games when they head to FC Lustenau.
And in the day’s final game, that kicks off at 19:30 BST, Austria Lustenau will look to continue their flying start to the Erste Liga campaign when they head to Hartberg.
Austria Lustenau finished third at the end of last season, 10 points behind winners WAC St Andra, and they are determined to challenge this time around. They enjoyed a dream start to this campaign by romping to a 5-0 victory over SV Kapfenberg – a team that was playing in the top flight of Austrian football last season.
In the early hours of Friday morning there are two crucial first leg matches from the preliminary stage of the Copa Sudamericana tournament with Aurora going up against Cerro Largo and O’Higgins playing host Cerro Porteno.
