There are two matches taking place in the ANZ Championship on Sunday with the NSW Swifts playing host against Queensland Firebirds, while Melbourne Vixens take on Waikato Magic.
The Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre hosts the Round 4 match between the New South Wales Swifts and Queensland Firebirds in the ANZ Championship on Sunday.
The Swifts are currently ranked seventh in the table with two points. They finally broke into the winning column after beating the Waikato/BOP Magic 49-47 last week. Susan Pratley topscored with 26 goals while Carla Dziwoki added 23.
The Firebirds also have two points after posting one win in their first three matches. The defending champions are coming off a 58-32 demolition of the Central Pulse.
The Melbourne Vixens and Waikato/BOP Magic clash in Round 4 of the ANZ Championship on Sunday.
The Vixens are seeking their third win in a row. They are coming off a 48-34 victory over the Adelaide Thunderbirds.
Tegan Caldwell led the way with 23 goals. Kate Beveridge added 20 while Karyn Howarth had eight.
Waikato, in contrast, is winless in three outings. They lost to the NSW Swifts 47-49 in the last round. Irene van Dyk and Juliana Naoupu will again lead the Magic.
There is plenty of football action taking place on Sunday with Italy and Spain leading the way.
There are six matches being streamed from Serie A in Italy with Inter Milan travelling to take on Fiorentina at 1130 GMT, while other key matches include AC Milan versus Bologna and Juventus at home against Roma.
Over in the La Liga in Spain there are five matches on show with Granada taking on Getafe at 1100, while Racing Santander play host to Athletic Bilbao.
Other sporting action on Sunday sees the men’s final of the FIVB Beach Volleyball Brazil Open, while there is handball action with Naturhouse La Rioja taking on BM Valladolid.
