Champagne corks were popping on Boxing Day in West Lothian as Jonathan Kilpatrick received the perfect, belated Christmas gift by becoming the first ever jackpot winner of Soccer Saturday’s Super 6 competition, netting himself a cool £100,000.
              
The 20-year-old from Bo’ness managed to predict correctly the scoreline of all six of Saturday’s Super 6 matches and was indebted to Everton’s Marouane Fellaini, who netted in 85th minute of his side’s 1-1 draw with Sunderland to secure Mr Kilpatrick’s sixth correct result.

Astonishingly, however, Jonathan wasn’t the only player to get six results correct. Mark McCann, from Coatbridge, Lanarkshire, also got maximum points but lost out on predicting the time of the ‘Golden’ first goal of the six selected matches as Jonathan’s prediction of eight minutes was the closest to the time of the actual Golden Goal, scored by Darren Bent in the 17th minute of his side's clash at the Stadium of Light.

Super 6’s first jackpot winner Jonathan Kilpatrick is still reeling from the news of his remarkable win: “I’m extremely shocked but one thing’s for sure, Marouane Fellaini is my new favourite player in the Premier League!”
