Playtech (LSE:PTECH) has aqcuired online bingo firm Virtue Fusion for up to £36m to strengthen its offering in online international bingo markets.Playtech anounced this morning it will buy Virtue Fusion to strengthen its online bingo platform. It said that bingo was one of the fastest growing segments in online gaming in 2009 and that the deal would provide it with cross-selling opportunities.Playtech's existing bingo platform has in the past been criticised by insiders as weak and has held back the development of brands such as TitanBingo which will now presumably be launched on the Virtue Fusion platform.
