Ladbrokes punter bets £135,000 on England at 1/200

A Scot became the first in football history to cheer an England victory after wagering £135,000 on them seeing off Andorra.

The Three Lions were as short as 1/200 to beat the European minnows in the World Cup qualifier at Wembley.

But it didn't stop the Ladbrokes customer in Livingston, West Lothian risking the whopping amount to win just £675.

Ladbrokes spokesman Robin Hutchison said: "I don't know what's less believable, a Scotsman backing England or someone risking £135,000 to win peanuts."
