Joining them in the next phase is Spain, which blasted Great Britain 8-1 in its final group match to finish with six points. The Netherlands, meanwhile, ruled Group B with seven points. They were held to a 3-3 draw by New Zealand in their final group match. New Zealand also advanced to the next phase as it has a superior goal difference over Germany. Australia will start the next phase with three points while the Netherlands and New Zealand have one point each.
