Number One Club stable runners to go head-to-head
Two of the Number One Club’s stable runners are set to go head-to-head this Saturday night at Tabcorp Park Menangle. Numberone Amenophis and The Big Mach will clash in the Taylor Made Travel Pace (2300 metres) this Saturday and have drawn alongside each other in barriers two and three respectively. “Numberone Amenophis has been working well since his victory at Tabcorp Park Menangle a fortnight ago,” trainer-driver Luke McCarthy said. “He is drawn well to be prominent once more.”
Numberone Amenophis’ five Number One Club owners for the day are Henry T, Greg S, Craig L, Peter G and Plamenka B.
The Big Mach’s five Number One Club owners for the day are David N, Campbell H, Craig E, Keith W and Enzo M.
Over $6,000 will be up for grabs by both sets of owners should their respective horse win the race.
To date, the Number One Club stable has earned over $230,000 in prizemoney which has been returned to members that have been owners for a day.
In other stable news one of our gallopers, She’s Number One, will line up at Hawkesbury on Thursday.
Contesting the Parramatta Leagues – Home of the Eels Benchmark 65 Handicap (1200 metres), She’s Number One is expected to improve on her first-up fifth at Gosford earlier in the month.
Her five Number One Club owners for the day will be Paul E, Rodney B, Tony S, Ashley R and Garry B, with $832 on the line for each of them should she get the cash.
