John Smith’s Grand National: Ticket and Badge Sales Visit Bet365 Save For Later Posted by Pete Culshaw 31 Mar 2008 Tweet Related Articles See all Grand National Facts news Share it Pin It Since going on sale on August 1, 2007, ticket and corporate hospitality sales for the three-day 2008 John Smith’s Grand National meeting have been exceptionally strong, with some packages selling out within the first week. Once again, the racecourse is predicting bumper crowds following the successful 2007 meeting when Aintree fi nished all development works and opened its new grandstands, the Earl of Derby and Lord Sefton. Managing director Julian Thick said: “The demand when we went on sale was unbelievable and indicates that the signifi cant investment in facilities over the last three years has been well received. Many of our customers like to buy early and plan for the event months in advance.“We made some small changes to the packages on offer in 2008 and have now introduced a new facility in the County Stand called the Platinum County Lounge, offering VIP benefi ts with private seating. “This is one of the areas that has been in huge demand and hassold out on all three days of the meeting.” Tickets and hospitality packages are still available for all three days of the meeting, including some reserved seating badges. Tickets can be purchased by telephoning 0151 522 2929 or 0151522 2911 for hospitality. Some tickets are available to purchase online at ww.aintree.co.uk, where there is information about the latest availability for admission and hospitality.
