Dream Alliance 25/1 for Grand National 2010 after victory in Welsh version

- 29 Dec 2009

Dream Alliance provided a fairytale result in the Coral Welsh National and has been given a quote of 25/1 by totesport for the Grand National next year.

Both horse and his jockey Tom O’Brien had recently returned from injury and Philip Hobbs’ gelding jumped boldly throughout the Chepstow marathon to score by three-quarters of a length. Runner-up Silver By Nature ran on strongly at the death and is the same price for the Aintree showpiece.

Me Voici lowered the colours of Sang Bleu in the Coral Future Champions Finale Hurdle at Chepstow and has been given a quote of 16/1 for the Triumph Hurdle at the Festival in March despite being highly unlikely to go for the race. Sang Bleu has been pushed out to 20/1 (from 12/1) for the same race.

Be There In Five ran out the convincing winner of the coral.co.uk Maiden Hurdle at Chepstow and has been given a quote of 25/1 by totesport for the Neptune Investment Management Novice Hurdle.

Over in Ireland, Pandorama just got up to beat Weapons Amnesty in a thrilling finish to the Knight Frank Novices’ Chase at Leopardstown this afternoon but remains a 9/1 shot for the RSA Chase at Cheltenham. The runner-up has been cut to 12/1 (from 20/1) for the same race.

The meeting at Leopardstown was abandoned before the Lexus Chase was run and the race has been rescheduled. All bets (ante-post and day of race) with totesport will stand.

Supreme Novices’ Hurdle – totesport bet: 6/4 Dunguib, 12 Menorah, 14 Rite Of Passage, 16 Loosen My Load, General Miller, 20 Bellvano, Pepe Simo, Washington Irving, Ghizao, 25 Hollo Ladies, Oscar Whiskey, Inventor, Finian’s Rainbow, Masterofthehall, Salden Licht, 33 Manyriverstocross, Some Present.
