Grace went into the final round at Binhai Lake Golf Club with a three-shot advantage over the rest of the field, and the South African produced a solid final 18 holes as a three-under-par round gave him a winning total of 21-under, three clear of second-placed Nicolas Colsaerts.

With the victory, Grace becomes only the second player to win three tournaments in his first season after graduating from the Qualifying School. And following the victory, the 23-year-old told EuropeanTour.com: “I thought my first win was around the corner (this season). To have three before May is literally unbelievable, but I’ve been playing well so I’ve been feeling like I can win and I’ve been giving myself opportunities.”

“It’s just amazing and shows you the standard of golf that I am playing right now. To have three win on The European Tour at this stage of my career is awesome.

“It could have been different this week – Nicolas (Colsaerts) was superb the last two days and came up short with a few putts that could have made a difference. It helped that I was playing with him but it was still hard.”

Englishman Richard Finch finished alone in third place on 17-under after a final-round 66, while Victor Dubuisson and George Coetzee shot 67 and 69 respectively to share fourth place on 16-under. Ricardo Gonzalez, Francesco Molinari, Marcus Fraser, Fabrizio Zanotti and Alexander Noren share sixth on 15-under, with Richard Green, Julien Quesne and Ignacio Garrido a shot further back on 14-under.
