Bubba Watson won his first ever major tournament at the 2012 US Masters and the American will be looking to retain the Green Jacket when he returns to Augusta National in 2013.

The 2013 US Masters will once again be played at the famous golf course in Georgia and it is sure to be fiercely competitive with a whole host of players looking to improve on their 2012 showings, not least Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy.

That pair will start out as favourites at Augusta and will be the main attraction for supporters throughout the week. Play begins on Thursday April 11 but the course will be open from Monday April 8 and there will be thousands of spectators filling the stands for the practice rounds and par three contest which take place before the tournament begins.

The tournament itself will feature 96 of the world's best golfers with past champions joined by those who have qualified through various channels. The field is the smallest of all the four major championships and as such it is the one that every professional wants to play in at least once in their career.
