Bookmaker William Hill are boldly offering big odds on Tiger Woods for this week’s Players Championship.
After missing the cut at Quail,
William Hill are offering Woods at 22/1 to win the The Players Championship, one of the biggest starting prices the former world number one has been in over a decade.
New world number one Rory Mcllroy is the 10/1 favourite, with Englishmen Luke Donald and Lee Westwood 14/1 second favourites.
Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams told Bettingpro.com: “Mcllroy and Westwood are certain to be very well backed and we are hoping that the 22/1 for Woods will attract a fair few.
