The official Ryder Cup singles fixtures have been announced and there are some exciting ties to look forward to today at Celtic Manor.
Lee Westwood, who has had an excellent Ryder Cup so far, is first out for the Europeans and takes on Steve Stricker in a match scheduled to tee off at 9am.
That pair are followed by young Northern Irishman Rory McIlroy, who faces veteran American Stewart Cink.
Tiger Woods, who suffered his biggest ever Ryder Cup defeat on Sunday, when he and Stricker lost 6 & 5 to Westwood and Luke Donald, faces rookie Francesco Molinari, whose brother Edoardo plays fellow rookie Rickie Fowler.
European captain Colin Montgomerie has opted for strength at the end of his list, with Padraig Harrington and Graeme McDowell out last, against Zach Johnson and Hunter Mahan respectively, in what could be the tournament’s decisive matches.
