The 2011 JBWere Masters title was claimed by Ian Poulter, with the Englishman finishing off his year in style
World number 28 Ian Poulter claimed victory at the JBWere Masters on Sunday, securing a three-shot victory after finishing on 15 under par.
It means that the Englishman finishes the year with a flourish and will now go into 2012 feeling confident that he can achieve plenty of success, having won the Volvo World Match Play Championship in Spain earlier this year.
Marcus Fraser finished second on 12 under par and the pair were the only players to shoot four sub-par rounds, while Peter Senior claimed fourth place on seven under.
"For me it was a pure ball-striking round of golf," Poulter said.
"(My concentration) was flawless the whole day. I was happy how I approached every shot.
"I hit my targets, it was fairly methodical, but for me it was a nice round of golf."
Geoff Ogilvy finished third after a disappointing final round.
