Related Articles See all PGA Tour news Share it Pin It Mark Wilson holed a 10 foot birdie putt on the 18th green to claim the 2012 Humana Challenge title on Sunday.Mark Wilson won the 2012 Humana Challenge by two shots on Sunday, finishing ahead of Robert Garrigues, John Mallinger and Johnson Wagner is a dramatic late night finish to a tournament which had been delayed due to high winds.The American had gone into the final round three shots ahead of his rivals but in the end if came down to the 18th green with Garrigues missing a 35 foot putt to take the lead before Wilson made his birdie to go two ahead. “Robert and I, going back and forth, we really enjoyed that,” Wilson said. “It just came down to 18, and I didn’t want to give him a chance to make that putt to tie me. ... That’s what we play for. You want somebody to win it, not necessarily to lose it."Wilson won $1,008,000 of the $5.6 million purse. He adds the Humana Challenge title to the Phoenix Open and Sony Hawaii Open crowns he won last year.
