Despite reclaiming the Ryder Cup at Celtic Manor on Monday, Europe are odds-against at 11/10 with Blue Square to win the 2012 renewal at Medinah, Illinois.

Back on home soil, it’s the Americans who edge favouritism in the early market at 10/11, with the Tie priced at 10/1.

Europe’s victory in Wales was good news for Blue Square, who found themselves facing a huge payout had the Americans fought back and won.

Spokesman Neil Lucas told Bettingpro:

"We kept Europe on our side for most of the tournament and layed the Americans at 200/1 during the final hour of play. Had Graeme McDowell not held his nerve down the 17th we would have been having kittens at the thought of the a USA victory, but thankfully it never came to take due to the US Open champ. We owe him drink."

"The US team looked weak at Celtic Manor but still managed to run the Europeans extremely close, therefore we make them favourites for the next tournament two years down the line," Lucas added.
