Rory McIlroy (7/1) is in a four-way share of second place after shooting five birdies and a bogey in his four-under display. The Northern Irishman is now nine-under through 54 holes and he is joined on that score by Peter Hanson (10/1), Francesco Molinari (14/1) and Paul Lawrie (20/1).

George Coetzee (25/1), James Kingston (50/1), Jean-Baptise Gonnet (50/1) and Thorbjorn Olesen (40/1) are a shot further back on eight-under, while Graeme McDowell (40/1) joins Jamie Donaldson (50/1), Thomas Bjorn (40/1) and Matteo Manassero (66/1) on seven under.
