Amateur  golfer Tom Lewis has shown the professionals how to do it today at the Open after a round of five under par.

Hills currently offer 33/1 that he goes on to win having started as a 500/1 shot. Tom Lewis is 12/1 to score a second 65, but a monster 100/1 to produce a 63 or less. Tom is 2/9 to make the cut, 3/1 to miss it and 25/1 to win a major by the end of 2013.
 
“There were a few people in the know as Tom was backed from 500/1 to 300/1 before the off. That said he will win us a couple of million if he can hang on,” said Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams.
 
At 7:45 Hills have Mcllroy, Westwood, Kymer & McDowell at 12/1 with Donald 16/1.
