Designed by Monterosa Productions, in association with Endemol UK and Channel 4, The Million Pound Drop Live TV Game show has started its new series this September with a Play Along Version. This also comes with a technical platform provided by Skype for the play along participants to join the live TV game show.

But before you begin, here are a few things that you need to keep in mind while playing along with The Million Pound Drop Live Game Show. First and foremost, you must bear this in mind that you are playing with virtual money and not real money. Sometimes, the question, answer options or your correct answers won't reflect on the screen. Don't panic and refresh your browser, just keep an eye on the live TV show and you will see the reason for the delay.

Make sure you place your money as soon as the question appears and the timer starts. But be quick, as soon as the timer stops, you won't be able to move the money. You have to place all your money on the trapdoors, because if you don't place your money on the trap doors and after the timer stops, you will lose out on the game.

While you can place your money in more than one trap door, you must keep one trap door free of any money. Only one answer will be corrected and you only get to keep that money which you placed on the correct answer. But if you are not sure of the correct answer, you can place your money on more than one trap door. If you do land up losing all your money, The Million Pound Drop will give you another chance to play with a £1 million worth of virtual money. 

Just in case, the internet connection drops while you play, The Million Pound Drop will try and reconnect the game without you having to lose your position in the game. But there maybe instances that this may not be possible and you may have to start playing afresh. If you get a message during the play along session that something has gone wrong, you need not worry as the game will resume from the next question with the same amount of virtual money you were left with. If you have already played one question and moving on to the next one, then you will still be able to be on the show.

On Facebook, your rankings will be based on the maximum question answered, amount of virtual money saved and the number of restarts. The Survivor Chart is a list of everyone who has played through an entire show and reached the end with an amount of the virtual money remaining. The more virtual money you have, the higher will your rating be on the Survivor Chart. If you don't see your name on this chart, then you may have made it to the end without restarting with a new set of £1 million worth of virtual money. You can try again if you want.
