Celebrity British television host Davina McCall is all set to launch Million Pound Drop Live - Season 4 on 28th January on Channel 4.

The Million Pound Drop Live has been a hit show in the US (known as The Million Dollar Money Drop) with a total payout till date worth $240,000. The Million Dollar Money Drop that was launched on 20th December and was aired for four consecutive nights.  The quiz was aired on Tuesdays for five weeks starting 4th January and was hosted by actor/comedian Kevin Pollak.

The rules are the same as the UK show. Teams of two begin each game with $1 million in cash.  The teams then risk that money by placing the cash on trap doors that correspond to up to four possible answers for each question.  If they put any money on a wrong answer, that cash is lost.  Teams can put money on multiple answers, but one trap door must be left with no cash on it.
Unlike the UK show the US show will not be live given the multiple time zones in the US. Even though it is a huge hit in the UK as well, everyone is eagerly awaiting a six figure win. The series 4 of the Million Pound Drop Live is expected to have more surprises, celebrity participants and a ‘play along’ mode in the UK show.

How to play The Money Drop Jackpot at Bet365 Games -

For an initial stake, you are given the top cash prize that you have to place on a choice of trap doors. You have to guess which trap door will not open and place your stake on this door. You can also hedge your bets by dividing the cash across a number of trap doors. The remaining cash left after the traps have been opened will be taken into the next round where you again try and keep as much cash as possible by placing it on the traps. If at the end of the game you have money left, this amount will be collected as winnings. The default setting involves 4 traps and 4 rounds.

After confirming the stake you have the choice of how to distribute your cash on the available traps. You can place the whole amount on one trap, or divide your cash into 2, 4 or 10 piles. All of the cash must be placed on the traps before the traps can be opened. Once the cash has been placed, press the DROP button. All but one of the traps will open.

At the end of a game, you may be lucky enough to win a Golden Ticket. Collect 5 Golden Tickets to enter the Jackpot game. A Golden Ticket will be awarded whether you win or lose the main game. The frequency of winning a Golden Ticket increases as the value of your main game stake increases.

Accumulated Golden Tickets will be saved between game sessions. Once you have collected 5 Golden Tickets you will be taken to the Jackpot Game. In the Jackpot game you have 8 rounds of The Money Drop to complete however you CANNOT split your cash. There are 8 rounds in total. The first 4 rounds will have 4 trap doors. The next 3 rounds will have 3 traps doors and the final round will have 2 trap doors – just like the TV show.

For every round you complete there will be a cash prize. The cash prize will increase the further you proceed through the rounds. The level of cash prizes that can be won will change depending on the stake of the main game that triggered the Jackpot game. The larger the main game stake, the larger the prize.
