Deal or No Deal in July saw some disappointing performances ... here is the update from the dealornodeal show.  Remember you can play dealornodeal online at jackpotjoy, ladbrokes games and paddypowergames.

Sunday 1st July, Shaun "Frazer" Frazer
Shaun Frazer known by all his family as Frazer, started July with a shocking first round. First out was the big £250,000 - the second game in a row where the biggest amount was revealed first. The rest of the round was a mixed bag containing £5,000, £5, 10p and £15,000. The offer came in at a punishing £900. NO DEAL from Fraser. Round 2 began with box 13 opened by Brian containing 50p. Next came box 15 opened by Gavin containing 100. The final box was 10 opened by Debbie containing £250. Frazer was happy to see this solid, all blue round. The Banker wasn't though and came in with £10,900. Still Frazer went for NO DEAL.

The third round broke the blue run as £50,000 was revealed?Another one of the power five disappeared from reach. Thankfully this was followed by £10 and 1p. Frazer had defied the Banker's prediction that he would be the next member of the 1p club. Despite the big knockout at the beginning of the round, the Banker elevated his offer to £12,500. Frazer was after the serious money so he continued forth with NO DEAL. In round 4, we saw two reds, £35,000 and £10,000 and one blue, £750. The Banker, whose latest prediction was that Frazer would win £1, increased his offer again to £13,700, a very respectable offer. It got a whole lot more respectable when he rang back mid decision-making time and changed his mind to offer £15,700. A shocked Frazer decided to battle on with NO DEAL with his Mum by his side for the remaining rounds.

It appeared that this was a decision made by Frazer for this 'one more round'. Ourt first was £75,000. This was followed by £500 and then the only power five left, £100,000 came out of the game. A smug Banker called in with an offer £1,700. Noel aptly pointed out that the highest remaining amount on the board, £20,000 was actually still higher than any of the offers he had received so far. If he carried on and won it, he would have beaten the Banker. With nerves of steel, Frazer went for NO DEAL again. In the last full round, disaster stuck. The three remaining reds came out - £1,000, £20,000 and £3,000. The last measly offer was £17. Frazer carried on until the bitter end and Frazer's box was opened to reveal the £1 that he was going home with.

Sunday 8th July Maria Andreou
Maria, a mother of free, including a set of twins, had a first round that revealed itself in ascending order. The amounts out were £5, £10, £500, £10,000 and £100,000. The Banker's first offer was £8,100. Maria wasn't going to become the only person out in the first round ? NO DEAL. The second round looked a little better as out came £50, £15,000 and after the break, 50p. The Banker's second offer rocketed up to £15,000. A strong and feisty Maria chose NO DEAL again. Just as she's confirmed her hasty decision, the Banker called in and told Maria to ?watch it' as he marked her quick moving deal rejections as disrespect. What could he have in store as her punishment?

Round 3 began with box 18 opened by Robert containing £75,000. A little bit of a blow for Maria. Next came box 21 opened by Rossano containing £1,000. The final box was 9 opened by Vicky containing 10p. The Banker hurriedly called in (perhaps echoing Maria's style) and offered?£15! Maria tossed this offer away with a giggle and a NO DEAL. As round 4 began, the Banker called back to negotiate with Maria. They agreed to wipe the slate clean and go on from there.

Onwards then and Maria's luck continued to grow. Out came £100, the dreaded 1p and a low red of £5,000. The Banker, now willing to accept this game for what it really was and threw in a more reasonable offer of £15?plus £22,000! Flabbergasted and nerves beginning to shake, Maria got some advice from the East and West Wing. Taking heed of their wise words, she decided to carry on and attack the board some more ? NO DEAL. Round 5 knocked a large hole amongst the reds as out came £20,000 and £35,000. After this was a cool £750. Not perfect but the £250,000 was defiantly still sitting on the board. This time the Banker called in and offered £15,000 for each of Maria's twin sons - £30,000. After much deliberating and noting that her other daughter Zoe had been left out of the offer, the Banker called back and offered another £5,000 bringing the grand total to £35,000. Claiming that she came here to chance her kids lives, she decided to NO DEAL in order to play on.

Round 6 started with a shock as out came £50,000. All hopes remained now with the big one. Thankfully, gratefully, brilliantly the last two out were £1 and £250. The audience erupted into cheers and Maria burst into tears. She was now in the exact same position as Laura, the only quarter millionaire winner, with £3,000 and £250,000 left. The Banker had no choice but to offer a whopping £75,000 - £25,000 for each of her children. At this point in Laura's game the Banker offered just £45,000 ? Noel claimed that he upped it this time because Maria had already turned down bigger sums of money and because he was absolutely terrified of her. After what seemed like a year of waiting, Maria was ready for the question. She decided at £75,000 to?DEAL! Her box contained only £3,000.

Monday 9th July, Igor Karpov
Igor Karpov, a 29-year-old Gymnastics coach originally from Orel in Russia had a very poor first round. With two contestants poorly, boxes 10 and 12 would be opened by Ross and Vicky. The first two out were £10,000 and £500 ? not a total disaster. However, this was followed by not one, not two but three power five amounts £250,000, £35,000 and £50,000. The man from Russia like his reds - The opening offer was £6,001. Hoping his luck would change, Igor went with NO DEAL. Hope wasn't enough though as first out in the second round was £15,000. Thankfully this was followed by £250 and after a commercial break introduced in Russian, £5. Oddly, after a better round than the first, the Banker dropped his second offer to £4,500. NO DEAL from Igor.

The beginning of the pivotal 3rd round turned the whole game in the wrong direction. Box 11 was opened by Alex containing £75,000 ? what a blow! Noel, seeing Igor's fixation with the board, took it away until the Banker's offer, hoping it would have a positive effect on his game. It worked - two blues followed, 50p and £750, but was this really enough to sway the Banker? Clearly not as the offer dropped again to £3,000. With the £100,000 still on the board, Igor chose NO DEAL again. Round 4 was the most solid of the game so far as Igor slickly removed £1, £10 and £5,000 from the board. The Banker responded to this by creeping the offer up to £5,750. Not good enough for Igor, NO DEAL.

Round 5 began with box 17 opened by Annie containing £100. Could this game be turning itself around? In theory, Igor still had the ability to be a member of the Hall of Fame. However as £20,000 and £100,000 were the next out, in practice, this was altogether a different matter. It was now looking more likely that he'd be a member of the 1p club. The offer was just £575. A gutted Igor was determined not to be defeated and decided to battle on with NO DEAL. In round 6, the relentless bad luck continued as £1,000 and £3,000 were out next. The final box out was ?50, leaving the Banker with his dream ending ? 10p and 1p left on the haunting board. The Banker's last offer was just 2p. Igor accepted, making the lowest Deal in the history of the show, and his box contained 10p!

Tuesday 10th July, Lynn Walton.
Mum, Lynn, had another mixed up first round, almost echoing the first round of Igor the day before which ended in disaster. Out came £3,000, £1, £100,000, £750 and £35,000. The Banker's first offer was an all too familiar £5,750, a reference to Igor's painful game. A firm NO DEAL came from Lynn. The second round was a different kettle of fish as three blues flew from the board - £5, £250 and £100. The Banker's second offer was £12,500. A surprised and very cheery Lynn wanted to carry on and spank the Banker so for a second time, she chose NO DEAL.

Round 3, although not all blue, continued in the same positive fashion. First out by Norman was £10. This was followed by box 1 opened by Robert containing £20,000 and then box was 11 opened by Rossano containing £50. The Banker's third offer had risen to £17,500. Maintaining her strong composure, Lynn chose NO DEAL again. Round 4 began with the one no-one wanted to see - £250,000 opened by Brian for the second time. Out next were £1,000 and £15,000. The Banker, noticing the lack of damage made to the top left corner of the board, bought his offer down to £7,500. With some help from her family and the rest of the beloved contestants, Lynn decided to NO DEAL.

What a wise choice that was as in round 5 out came £500, 10p and £10,000. Not really knowing whether to laugh or cry, the Banker called in and offered her a massive £17,499. Not her highest offer, but only by £1. After some soul searching, Lynn decided she wanted to keep the dream alive and went for NO DEAL again. Knowing that this last round was make or break time, Lynn needed every ounce of luck on her side? And this time it paid off as the three lowest amounts withered out of the board. With £50,000 and £75,00 left on the board, a seething Banker offered £62,000. With two such fantastic amounts left in it, Lynn was happy to brush away the offer ? Both amounts would be a dream come true so NO DEAL! Lynn rejected the swap and went home with £50,000. The final box 4 opened by Debbie contained £75,000. She didn't beat the Banker, but she did go home with a life-changing amount of money. What a terrific game and living proof that fortune favours the brave!

Friday 13th July Mohammed "Asim"Bux
Asim, a student in London, was the last contestant to take to the Crazy Chair before the Summer Break. To mark this occasion, would the Banker have some tricks up his sleeve? Read on to find out. Asim's first round was strong as he pulled out £1,000, 10p, £50,000, £50 and £10. The Banker's called in and before giving the first offer he revealed one of his tricks - out came 22 red beach buckets for each of the contestants. Robert had the pulled the question mark from his bucket to reveal £250,000 which entitled him to a week's holiday for two in the Costa Del Sol! John who had the penny bucket won a weekend for two in Weston Supermare! The Banker's first offer came in at £9,000. Asim respected the first offer from the Banker in his unusually generous mood, but it was a NO DEAL from him.

Round 2 was again strong, but not perfect. Out came £10,000, £250 and £20,000. The second offer was £12,500. Again, respectful for his offer but wanting to go one, Asim chose NO DEAL. Round 3 began with box 5 opened by Rossano containing £750 Next came box 17 opened by Debbie containing £100,000. The final box was 7 opened by Stevie containing £15,000. The rounds were slowly getting worse ? This time the Banker dropped his offer to £10,000. Reluctant to cave at that moment, Asim chose to NO DEAL again. In round 4, the luck fled back to Asim as he revealed 50p, £3,000 and the lowest of the power five, £35,000. The Banker had no choice but to up his offer to £13,000, for Friday 13th July. Another touch choice for Asim, but another NO DEAL.

In the penultimate full round, things just soared for Asim as out came £5,00, £500 and £100. Almost the perfect round, yet the 1p was still lingering. The Banker, who couldn't ignore the fact that two of the higher power five members were still in play, offered £31,000 (Bad luck revesed!). With his back up gone and in a content position, Asim chose this time to DEAL. It turned out Asim had perfect timing, in the next round out came £1, £250,000 and £5, dramatically reducing the Banker's offer. When Assim's box was opened, it revealed the dreaded 1p and box 11 contained £75,000! He went home with a sum of money and gave the Banker, quite literally a massive run for his money! Even in his beaten state though, he still managed to muster the generosity to give Robin and Steve £500 each as their bucket matched the amounts on their boxes.
