William Hill Install Kerry As 7/4 Favourites To Retain Their All Ireland Title
Bookies William Hill have installed Kerry as their 7/4 favourites to retain their All Ireland title following their 0-16 to 1-09 victory over Cork on Sunday.
Jack O’Connor’s side went into the final as slight underdogs, but their vast experience helped them past an early Cork surge, and they eventually ran out convincing winners.
The beaten finalists Cork are rated 4/1 chances to go one place better next season.
William Hill’s Irish spokesman Tony Kenny said “Kerry once again proved they are the dominant force in Gaelic football” He continued “On the evidence of this year’s final they’re going to be very difficult to stop, and they’re worthy favourites to retain the Sam Maguire”.
