When will Kilkenny's dominance end?

Kilkenny, widely regarded as the greatest team of all time are now as short as 1/6 with Paddy Power to win the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship.

The Cats are just one game away from a historic fifth All-Ireland title in a row but Paddy Power are betting it’s only the beginning for the impressive side. It’s odds on at 4/5 that Kilkenny will win six championships in a row, 7/4 they go on to win seven, 4/1 they rake in eight and 7/1 they hold on for nine consecutive Liam McCarthy cups!

Sharon McHugh, spokesperson for Paddy Power, told Bettingpro:

“Kilkenny at the moment look unstoppable and with their minor team looking so good on Sunday it looks like their position at the top of Hurling’s elite looks likely to continue for the next few years. They could end up not only winning 5 in a row but possibly even 9 in a row!”

It’s looking like Kilkenny will face Tipperary in the final. The Premier County are the 4/11 favourites to win this weekend’s semi final while Waterford are the underdogs at 5/2. The odds on the two sides drawing are 11/1.
