Lilywhites slight favourites to win All Ireland semi-final

Boylesports have installed Kildare as marginal favourites to advance to play Cork in this year’s Senior All Ireland Championship decider.

Kieran McGeeney’s side are 4/5 to beat Down on Sunday and have been installed as 7/2 second favourites to lift Sam for the first time since 1928.  Down are 5/4 to upset the Lilywhites party and are 10/11 at +1 in the handicap betting.

Cork have been installed as the odds on favourites to win their first Senior All Ireland Football title in 20 years and Conor Counihan’s men are currently available at 2/5 to prevail on the 19th September.

Nicola McGeady, spokesperson for Boylesports, told Bettingpro:

“Kildare are given a slight edge going into this game and they are being backed steadily in our shops throughout the county.  Cork showed their determination last weekend and they will be formidable opponents for whoever makes it through from this Sunday’s semi-final.”
