Red Bull Team Looking Impressive in Formula 1 Testing

Sebastien Vettel posts fastest time in Spain

With the formula one season due to start next month, there is a lot of hype surrounding this week’s testing session in Jerez, and the Red Bull team are causing most of the headlines.

Sebastien Vettel posted the week’s fastest time, and as a consequence, the German has been cut from 6/1 to 5/1 to win this year’s driver’s championship by Coral.

His team-mate Mark Webber has also been trimmed to 14/1, having previously been available at 16/1.

The market leader is still Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso, at 5/2, whislt British hopes Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button can be backed at 4/1 and 10/1 respectively.

Coral spokesman Gary Burton told bettingpro:

“The Red Bull cars have been consistent in testing, and with the opening
Grand Prix in Bahrain only three weeks away, they must be looking forward to
the new season with high hopes,”
