F1 betting – Sebastian Vettel favourite to retain title

With the F1 season over for another year, William Hill are already looking forward to 2012.

William Hill make Sebastian Vettel Even money favourite to retain his Drivers Championship title in 2012, while Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton are both 9/2. This year’s second placed man, Jenson Button is 7/1. 

Despite convincingly defeating his McLaren team-mate this year, Button is 6/5 to finish higher than Hamilton while Hamilton is 8/13. 

Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly told Bettingpro.com: “Although Sebastian Vettel has dominated this season since day one there has been no lack of drama and the gap over the second half of the season seemed to be closing. 2012 already looks like it will be a corker.”
