They played in the Championship at the New Den in September but that was the first time they played in the league since 2005. The head-to-head record between the two teams puts West Ham narrowly ahead with seven wins to Millwall's five but with seven draws it is fair to say that they are, historically at least, evenly matched. The odds this weekend make the Hammers, who are top of the Championship, the strong favourites but it is a brave man that takes the 4/7 on offer from bet365 that they beat their local rivals.West Ham do, however, have a very strong home record this season and have won eight of their 13 matches at Upton Park. They have the strongest squad in the Championship but they don't always play the expansive football that many expect from a team that contains the likes of Kevin Nolan, Mark Noble and Henri Lansbury.
