Spain v South Korea live streaming preview and betting tips

Spain are 20/21 to beat South Korea by two or more goals on Thursday (credit: Denis Doyle/Getty Images)
Spain have named their final 23 man squad for Euro 2012 and their preparations for the tournament start with a match against South Korea on Thursday evening.

Watch and bet on Spain v South Korea live at bet365>livestreaming>football from 19:00 GMT on Thursday.

There were a number of surprises in Spain's final 23 man squad for Euro 2012, not least the omission of Valencia striker Roberto Soldado. That is, however, indicative of the current strength of Spanish football that a player who topped the scoring charts in the mini-league excluding Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo can be excluded, despite the absence through injury of David Villa.

Most nations would dream of having the kind of selection headaches of Del Bosque but nonetheless the manager still has some problems. Does he go with Fernando Llorente, a player who doesn't necessarily fit in with the short passing ethos of Barcelona stars Sergio Busquets, Xavi, Andres Iniesta and Cesc Fabregas, or does he play Fernando Torres, a Champions League winner who is out of form at the moment?

Then there is the conundrum of Xabi Alonso and David Silva. Where do these two superstars fit in? These questions are likely to be answered on Thursday, when Spain take on South Korea in a friendly match and it will be very interesting to watch how the home side line-up.

Whoever plays should be able to beat Korea, and justify odds of 2/7, as the Asian side are a bad match up for Spain. They play an open passing style, which simply won't work against a Spanish side who do the same but better. They also don't have the physical presence to cause any real problems for their hosts and even odds of 10/1 don't make much appeal.

Instead, look to Spain to dominate possession and ultimately dominate the final score. It will be important for Torres, Llorente, Alvaro Negredo and Pedro to score goals to gain confidence ahead of Euro 2012 so there will be no let up from La Furia Roja. It is 20/21 that Spain win by at least two goals and expect that as an absolute minimum.
