Southampton 11/10 For Premier League Relegation

Rickie Lambert (credit: Kiloran)
BetVictor are already betting on the outcome of Southampton’s first season back in the top flight of English football.

BetVictor make Southampton 11/10 to be relegated from the Premier League next term after they were promoted from the Championship following their demolition of Coventry City earlier today.

Firm spokesperson Charlie McCann told Bettingpro.com: “Saints look as if they will score goals in the top flight, especially if they can keep hold of Rickie Lambert, but will they be able to improve a defence that has looked vulnerable on more than the odd occasion this term?

“We make Southampton 4/6 to avoid the drop and 11/10 to make their stay in the Premier League a fleeting visit. West Ham are our 7/4 favourites to join Reading and Southampton in the Premier League after their place in the play-offs was assured with Saints win against Coventry.“

Latest BetVictor Odds:

Southampton to be relegated in 2012/13?

Yes             11/10
No              4/6

Reading to be relegated in 2012/13?

Yes             Evens
No              8/11

To be promoted:

Blackpool       11/4
Cardiff         4/1
