Saturday's Blue Square Bet Premier Wrap

League leaders Wrexham endured a frustrating afternoon at Braintree Town, while 10-man Southport edged past Stockport County at Edgeley Park.

Ten-man AFC Telford United bounced back to winning ways as a 77th minute goal from Steve Jones fired them to 1-0 victory over Barrow AFC at New Bucks Head.

Ten-man Alfreton Town had just enough quality to see off the challenge of Hayes & Yeading United in a five-goal thriller at the Impact Arena.

The Reds claimed the lead through Nathan Arnold's 64th minute effort despite Jamie Mullan's sending off in the first period.

A late flurry of goals from both sides gave both sets of supporters a nerve-racking final few minutes.

Jake Moult (90) and Nathan Jarman (90) scored for the hosts, while an Arnold own goal (90) and a Louie Soares (90) effort ensured a tense finish.

Lindon Meikle's 24th minute goal for Mansfield Town cancelled out Sean Canham's 19th minute opener for Bath City at Twerton Park.

Braintree Town managed to keep leaders Wrexham at bay despite the 85th minute dismissal of Aswad Thomas.

Goals from Adam Rundle (55) and Dale Hopson (90) fired Darlington to a 2-0 victory over Marcus Law's Tamworth at the Northern Echo Arena.

James Norwood scored an injury-time equaliser for Forest Green Rovers after York substitute Jamie Reed had given his side the lead from the penalty spot in the 83rd minute.

Second-placed Fleetwood Town clawed their way back from a goal down to earn a share of the spoils with Gateshead at the International Stadium.

Ian Bogie's side claimed the lead on 11 minutes thanks to Martin Brittain, and Jamie Vardy continued his fine form with a 72nd minute equaliser.

Grimsby Town extended their unbeaten run to three games with a 2-1 win against Mark Stimson's Kettering Town at Nene Park.

A brace from Liam Hearn (13, 63) put the visitors firmly in the driving seat, rendering David Bridges' 90th minute goal nothing more than a consolation.

Goals from Conal Platt (38), Simon Russell (74) and John Nutter (80) helped Lincoln City to a comfortable victory over 10-man Ebbsfleet United at Sincil Bank.

Gary Brabin's Luton Town moved up to seventh place in the league standings as an injury-time goal from substitute Danny Crow helped them to a 1-0 win against Newport County at Newport Stadium.

Ten-man Southport cemented their place in third position as a 74th minute goal from Karl Ledsham fired them to a 1-0 victory over Stockport County at Edgeley Park.
