Roy Hodgson is 14/1 with bookmaker William Hill to leave his new job as England manager before the end of this year.

The 64-year-old has signed a four-year contract to succeed Fabio Capello in charge of the national team and is 5/2 to depart as scheduled after Euro 2016.

“Despite not being everyone’s first choice, the odds suggest England will stick with Hodgson until 2016,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

William Hill are also betting on which players Hodgson will select for his Euro 2012 squad and have priced up some of his former charges.

Bobby Zamora and Andrew Johnson, who were Hodgson’s regular striker combination at Fulham, are 2/1 and 4/1 respectively to travel to the tournament in Poland and the Ukraine.

Joe Cole, whom Hodgson signed during his brief reign at Liverpool and is now on loan at Lille, is 7/1 to be included in the squad.

It is 6/1 with Hill’s that no Liverpool player starts England’s first Euro 2012 match against France. That would mean Hodgson not selecting Steven Gerrard, Glen Johnson and Stewart Downing.

Alan Curbishley is the 3/1 favourite with William Hill to be the next permanent West Brom manager.

Birmingham boss Chris Hughton is 4/1 and former Baggies coach Michael Appleton, now in charge of Portsmouth, 6/1.
