Roma must seize opportunity to gain ground at the top of Serie A

Inter Milan dropped points on Friday night, to give the chasing teams a glimmer of hope of catching the Serie A leaders, and in order to do so, Roma must win this afternoon against Livorno.
There is nothing to suggest that the side in the best form in the division can’t beat one of the teams who are struggling against relegation, and odds of 5/6 (Bluesq) for Roma to win, even without Francesco Totti must be lapper up by punters.
Livorno are available at 7/2 (Bet365) but even that is horrendously short for a side that has only scored six times away from home all season. A better bet is that the visitors fail to score in a Roma win (2/1, PaddyPower) or else covering the one-nil (6/1, VictorChandler) and two-nil (15/2, SkyBet) home wins, at similar odds to a Livorno victory.
Without Totti, Roma will be relying on Mirko Vucinic (11/2, SkyBet) for goals this afternoon, and the Montengro international rarely disappoints when asked to fill the gap left by Roma’s captain.
