Roma v Catania live streaming preview, odds and tips

Roma will hope Fabio Borini can score to help keep alive their hopes of European qualification against Catania (credit: Getty Images)
Roma’s chances of Champions League football next season have gone and only victory in this game would keep alive any prospect of Europa League qualification.

A run of four games without a win has proved extremely costly to Luis Enrique’s side and the Spanish coach looks set to leave the capital at the end of the campaign.

They were not done any favours by the conditions in their 0-0 midweek draw with Chievo, which was played on a virtually waterlogged pitch.

But the result will not have lifted the gloom surrounding what is a high-quality squad that should arguably be doing much better.

Catania have enjoyed an excellent season, although a sequence of only one win in their last eight games has removed a little of the shine and left them clinging on to a place in the top half of the table.

Nevertheless, they are capable of grinding out results away from home and a draw, priced at 11/4, may not be beyond the visitors to the Olympic Stadium. Roma are 8/13 and it’s 9/2 for an away win.

This match comes under bet365’s ‘Bore Draw’ promotion. Place a pre-match correct score, double result or scorecast bet and if the match finishes 0-0, all losing bets on those markets will be refunded.
