Portugal v Bosnia-Herzegovina preview and odds

Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal must win second leg (credit: Paul Gilham/Getty Images)
Portugal face a must-win scenario when they host Bosnia-Herzegovina on Tuesday night in a Euro 2012 play-off.

In the biggest surprise of the play-offs, Portugal need a win at home to qualify over Bosnia-Herzegovina after a 0-0 draw in the first leg.

The two sides have met twice before this campaign, with Portugal winning by one goal each time.

Raul Meireles and Cristina Ronaldo mustered great efforts against the smaller side, but some impressive keeping by Asmir Begovic and a heroic block from Adnan Zahirovic foiled their best efforts.

After a strong offensive second half performance, the away underdogs will enter the second leg with knowledge this could be the route to their first ever major competition.

Match odds: Portugal 1.424, Bosnia-Herzegovina 9.200, Draw 4.670
