Perrotta Extends Roma Contract

Midfielder signs deal until 2011

Roma midfielder Simone Perrotta has shown his commitment to the club, by signing a new contract, which will keep him with the Giallorossi until 2011.

The Italian international’s previous deal expired at the end of the current season, but the new deal will keep him with the club until June 2011.

A Roma statement confirmed the deal:

"AS Roma and Simone Perrotta have reached an agreement to extend the player's contract until June 30, 2011.

"The player will receive 3.1million euros for the 2010-11 campaign, besides the extras upon reaching the aims fixed for that season."

Perrotta signed from Roma from Chievo in 2004.
