Coral bookmakers fancy Sam Allardyce to be the first managerial casualty of the 2012/13 Premier League season.

He may have taken West Ham back into the top flight of English football at the first attempt, but Allardyce is the 10-3 favourite with Coral to be the first Premier League manager to leave his post next season.

Chelsea's Champions League winning boss, Roberto Di Matteo is the 7-1 second favourite, ahead of Reading's Brian McDermott, 8-1.

Coral's David Stevens told Bettingpro.com: “It illustrates the precarious nature of being a Premier League boss when the early favourites in the 'Sack race' betting are two managers who took their teams into the top division and a Champions League winning  coach, but that is the reality that faces Allardyce, McDermott and Di Matteo in our opinion.”

Latest Coral odds:

Who will be the first Premier League manager to leave their post?

10-3 Sam Allardyce, 7 Roberto Di Matteo, 8 Brian McDermott, 9 Tony Pulis, 10 Steve Clarke, Chris Hughton, 12 Roberto Martinez, Martin Jol, 14 Michael Laudrup, Martin O’Neill, 16 Mark Hughes, 20 Brendan Rodgers, Paul Lambert, David Moyes, Arsene Wenger, 25 Andre Villas-Boas, 28 Alan Pardew, 40 Nigel Adkins, 50 Sir Alex Ferguson
