I have said we have set out to build something new at this club and the club is committed to what we are building for the future."However, there have been strong rumours linking Guus Hiddink, who led the club to the semi finals of the Champions League, third place in the Premier League and won the FA Cup when appointed as a replacement to Luiz Felipe Scolari, after the Brazilian made a poor start to his reign at Stamford Bridge.William Hill are offering odds of just 5/4 that Hiddink is appointed the next Chelsea manager and it is not beyond the realms of possibility that Abramovich will turn to the Dutchman, should the Blues fail to beat Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League on Wednesday evening. A loss of €15 million (plus compensation) is small change to a man who spent €100 million on new players in the January transfer window.
