Mario Balotelli to stay at Manchester City FC

Balotelli’s first two seasons in the Premier League have been rollercoaster ones with some on-pitch brilliance matched with stupidity both on it and off it, and during that time there has been a constant stream of speculation about him leaving the Eastlands outfit.

The 21-year-old endeared himself to much of the football world with his sensational brace in Italy’s Euro 2012 semi-final upset of Germany, and that has once again lead to him being linked with a summer switch.

However, agent Mino Raiola has rubbished suggestions that Balotelli will be moving on, telling Radio Monte Carlo: “Since Thursday night I’ve received many requests from China, the United States, Africa and other countries.

“But Mario is clear with his choices. With him, he have always said that we wanted to stay three or four years in England.

“Don’t forget that next year will be only the third one he will be there, and he’s only aged 21.”

Balotelli has since reiterated his desire to return to England after Euro 2012, telling reporters: “The City fans always want me, even though they are English and I have helped eliminate their national team.”

Despite these comments the bookmakers are still betting on where Balotelli will be plying his trade when the summer transfer window slams shut.

The forward is 5/1 to make a return to Inter Milan, while city rivals AC Milan are SkyBet’s 3/1 favourites to land his signature. Serie A champions Juventus are 14/1 to strengthen their forward line with the 21-year-old, while big-spending French side Paris St Germain are 14/1 to add him to their squad.
