Manchester United produced a stunning second half comeback to beat Manchester City 3-2 in the Community Shield on Sunday afternoon.

A hugely entertaining Community Shield ended with a dramatic goal at the death as United won the battle of the Manchester giants thanks to a stirring second-half comeback.

Three goals after the break, with Nani's 94th minute finish the last of the lot, saw United reward In-Play backers at a high of 30.0 on betfair while City traded at a low of 1.17 and the draw at 1.08.

The two title contenders fielded strong lineups with Danny Wellbeck the one surprise inclusion for United in a team containing Ashley Young, and City playing Mario Balotelli upfront with Edin Dzeko.

And it was the FA Cup champions who looked to be enjoying the Wembley experience, establishing a two goal cushion at halftime. Joleon Lescott finding the back of the net with a short range header and Dzeko seeing a speculative punt evade David De Gea. It was a worrying error from the £18m man, but it will have delighted the backers of City to hold a lead at the break at an In-Play high of 12.0.

But if the error affected the new keeper, the rest of the team had no such problems coming back at City with a ferocious second-half assault.

Chris Smalling got the comeback off with a close range finish past Joe Hart. Seconds later Nani slotted past the England man after a Barcelona-esque series of one touch passing cut their rivals' defence to ribbons.

And it was the Portuguese international who finally killed City off, seizing on a Vincent Kompany error to beat Hart again. The final score of 3-2 traded at 55.0 In-Play on betfair.

United remain title favourites at 2.82 while City are 5.1. Chelsea sit in between the two at 3.85.
