But although the Blues want to offload Tevez before the transfer window closes, manager Roberto Mancini had no interest in signing Carroll. However according to the Daily Mirror, Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish is keen on taking the Argentina international on loan should City let him leave in the next 24 hours.Tevez is still keen on a move to AC Milan, but the Italian side - along with rivals Inter, and Paris Saint-Germain - are unwilling to stump up the funds for a permanent deal.According to Monday's report, Liverpool would be prepared to cover the former Manchester United striker's six-figure weekly wages at a total cost of around £5m for six months. The Merseysiders have been linked with a number of forwards during the January transfer window as Dalglish looks to add to his options in attack.Although the Reds beat Manchester United 2-1 on Saturday in the FA Cup 4th round, Dalglish has seen his side struggle in front of goal this season, and Carroll has largely failed to impress.Former club Newcastle are believed to be keen on re-signing the England international, but a January move is not expected to happen after Dalglish last week insisted reports that the club were ready to offload their record signing had "absolutely no foundation whatsoever."
