Watch and bet on Leicester City v Real Madrid live at bet365>livestreaming>football from 17:15 BST on Saturday.

Madrid are expected to field a strong line-up for this match, which has drawn a sell-out crowd, while hosts Leicester will have a number of new faces on show following a busy summer for manager Sven-Goran Eriksson.

City are aiming for promotion to the Premier League this season (9/2 SportingBet to win title, 6/4 for promotion) and have shown their ambition with a string of news signings during the close-season. Eriksson has swooped for no less than nine players, with the newest acquisitions coming in the former of defender John Pantsil and midfielder Michael Johnson.

And the Swede is looking forward to testing his side against one of the biggest clubs in the whole of world football.

He told the club’s official website: “If you have the possibility to invite Real Madrid to your Club it is great for everyone - the fans, the players, for me as a coach and the rest of the coaching team.

“To go up against one of the best football clubs in the world will be great on Saturday.

“I had a phone call from an agent many months ago, who asked if we would be interested in playing Real Madrid and as soon as I spoke to the owners and they agreed to it.

“They're one of the best football teams in the world and to have them here in front of a sold-out crowd is perfect.”

Match odds: Real Madrid 2/9 (Betfred), Leicester 11/1 (Boylesports), Draw 5/1 (bet365)
